Healthy White Chicken Chili

Try this version of White Chicken Chili to warm up and support your immune system during the cold winter months.

INGREDIENTS:

1lb Soaked Northern Beans (or (2) 15 1/2 oz canned white beans)

1 medium chopped onion

3 minced garlic cloves

2 4oz cans green chilis

2 teaspoons Cumin

1 teaspoon oregano

1 ½ tsp cayenne pepper

½ teaspoon salt

1 cup water

1-2 Tbsp coconut oil
2lbs of chicken breast browned and shredded (or canned chicken) 14 oz broth of your choosing (we suggest chicken)

2 scoops Flax Hull Lignans

 

  1. When you brown your chicken, brown it in a little coconut oil and add the flax hull lignans. The heat will not hurt the immune boosting properties of the lignans. Once you shred the meat, stir it up in the skillet to wipe up any leftover flax lignans. Scrape all of it into the crockpot.

Add the rest of the ingredients in the crock pot and cook for 5-6 hours on high or 10-12 hours on low.
