Immune System Health

How to Get Through Flu Season Without Getting the Flu.

Do you have kids that pass around germs in school? Do you work or travel through public places regularly? If so, you probably dread the cold Winter months because of cold and flu season!

Our staff members have families too. Our kids catch nasty viruses at school and bring them home to “share”. News of global viruses concern us too. But we feel like we have a tool in our back pocket that makes us more resistant to these situations. Is it a “cure”? No. Is it a “drug”? No.  Does it guarantee you’ll never get sick again? No. But does it reduce the amount of viruses you tend to pick up? Our customers say YES. Does it reduce the severity of things you catch? Again, our thousands of customers say YES. How does this work then? It affects and supports the human immune system and helps it to do it’s job with peak performance. Your immune system is supported to do the job it was made to do effectively.

We Found This Tool Accidentally

This little “tool” that we all use for improving our immune system was stumbled upon accidentally. Many of the staff members at our for-profit company are heavily involved in a non-profit organization called Aids Research & Assistance that helps kids in South Africa who have HIV and AIDS. We have been working with this organization and their kids in South Africa for 20 years. We’ve worked with these kids who were often literally dying from the illnesses they’d pick up from other kids – all because their immune systems were compromised. These kids would catch every single little bug or virus that the kids in their schools would carry and they would get sicker than the other kids.

Lindawe, Swaziland

This photo is one of the sweet girls our staff members met who sadly had HIV and then caught something and succumbed to the effects of her illness. We won’t belabor this story to pull on your heart strings, we just want you to know this is real. This child and so many others that were lost broke our staff member’s hearts. Something had to be available out there in the world to help these kids. We had to think out of the box!

The Thing That Now Makes The Difference!

Then, one day we met a farmer from North Dakota who changed everything. This farmer told us about Flax Hull Lignans and how they were a miraculous substance that renovated the immune system.  And, scientists had been trying to extract and concentrate the lignans from the shell of the flax seed for years but weren’t able to do it without turning the end product rancid. But he had figured out how to do it!

The scientists and flax farmers in the North understand that these lignans renovate the immune system and support it’s ability to help the body do it’s job to fight off unwanted microbes. As a matter of fact, when this farmer made his first batch of extracted lignans and sent it to the University of North Dakota, the university scientists drove to his house to ask him how he had done it! They had been trying to extract and concentrate lignans for years and were so excited that this farmer had figured it out!

Studies and Trials Have Been Done

The farmer asked the non-profit organization to do some trials using some of his Flax Hull Lignans. They did three rounds of studies and people with all kinds of illnesses improved dramatically. The last round was performed in South Africa on 100 people who had HIV/AIDS. People with HIV typically saw their CD4 counts raise significantly. (The CD4 count is the blood measurement of the immune system). You can learn more about their studies at AidsHivAwareness.org. But the most awesome thing that the nurse who oversaw the study reported, was that the kids with HIV stopped getting sick around their school mates! As a matter of fact, the kids who had HIV and were on the Flax Hull Lignans got sick less than their normally healthy classmates! What a miracle!

This is one of the children who is on the Flax Hull Lignans and is thriving! Her story has a different ending than the kids we worked with before, when we had nothing to help their immune systems!

The nurse literally said, “The kids on Flax Lignans with HIV are out on the playground and the regular kids are sick in bed with colds and flus.” The kids with HIV were healthier than the normal kids! All thanks to the Flax Hull Lignans that were introduced to their diet. For almost 20 years now, the non-profit organization has provided  many orphanages with this immune system supporting supplement to help a lot of kids!

Take a look at this paragraph from the official report from the non-profit organization:

“Round 3 was performed in Durban, South Africa, Piet Retief, South Africa and Swaziland (highest AIDS pandemic areas globally). The 90 day study included 1 scoop of product per day for adults and 1/2 scoop of product per day for children 12 and under. All 100 patients were HIV Positive and 75% experienced AIDS symptoms including (cancer, thrush, mental fatigue and lack of focus, diminished strength, swelling of glands and other various AIDS related symptoms). The African people responded more quickly to the study, with 64% having a health change within the first 30 days, and 97% noticing a positive health change within the 90 day study.” The entire report can be read HERE.

Testimonies From Our Customers

You see, we’ve had thousands of customers use Flax Hull Lignans for years to support their own immune systems. The testimonials come in all the time. Here are a few we’d like to share:

“I am a teacher and I noticed a big difference in how many colds I would pick up after I started taking Flax Hull Lignans. I won’t be without it now!” – Matthew S.

“I am a mom of three boys and we used to pass around 3-4 colds or viruses a year. The kids would go to school and share germs with their friends and bring them home to us. We’ve been taking the Flax Hull Lignans regularly for three years now and I can say in that period of time we only had one cold that we passed around and it wasn’t that severe. I sneak the Flax Hull Lignans into our meals when I cook, the kids never even know it! And I know they are getting their omega 3’s!” – Katie D.

“Hello Flax Lignan Health Staff. Well, I have been taking one teaspoon of Flax Hull Lignans every day for over two years (this can be verified by your own account records) and have not had any colds or flus within that time period. I’m 68 years old and I live in New York City. I exercise regularly and eat a regular diet, and I seriously cannot dispute the effectiveness of Flax Hull Lignans with respect to it keeping my immune system in tip top shape. Prior to taking them, I would be sick with colds at least once a year. I highly recommend your product as to its effectiveness in promoting good health.” -Michael

Flax Hull Lignans

Here’s Exactly What Flax Hull Lignans Will Give Your Body.

  1. Flax Hull Lignans support your immune system, endocrine system, excretory and digestive systems. It seems to have an enhancing effect on the health of each system.
  2. They are very high in anti-oxidants, they have an ORAC value of 19,600 with 150-300 SDG! This categorizes this product as a “super antioxidant” and antioxidants clean up the cellular debris and “rust” in our bodies, enabling them to work at peak performance.
  3. Flax Hull Lignans are 8% oil and fat, and 55% of that fat is ALA (Alpha-Linolenic Acid).  If a person were to consume 2.5g (3/4 tsp) daily of FHL, they would be consuming approximately 110mg ALA which is the daily recommendation for women. (The daily recommended amount for men is 160mg according to the National Academy of Sciences). One scoop of Flax Hull Lignans provides 220 mg of ALA.
  4. There are 2g of dietary fiber and 1.4g of protein in each scoop of FHL
  5. There are many other constituents that are in Flax Hull Lignans that are a part of the product but are not listed on the label. This is because the constituents are not “added” ingredients, they are part of the SDG ingredient, and naturally a part of the whole. We don’t want you to look at the label and think, “there isn’t much to this” because our lab analysis tells another story.

But There Is More In This Than The Label Tells…

In reading this label, you’ll see that the ingredient is pure, extracted SDG Lignan. It has 20 calories per scoop, 0g fat, 0mg Sodium, 3g of Carbs, 3g of Fiber, and 1 g of Protein. So just by looking at the label, you have to trust in the SDG to be “special”, because the label doesn’t tell you the wonders of the SDG.

That is where our Lab Analysis comes in. When we tested the Flax Hull Lignan, which is pure concentrated and extracted from the Flax Hull, this is what we got:

There are so many pieces of nature in these tiny particles! Natural substances that the human body needs to work properly. Natural pieces that work together to tune up your immune system!

The label only requires listing of the SDG, but wouldn’t you like to know what makes up the SDG?

Let’s take a look at a few of these constituents that make up the SDG lignan in the shell of the flax seed….

This is a-mazing!

Tryptophan is an amino acid used in the biosynthesis of proteins. It is essential in humans, meaning the your body cannot make it, it must be obtained from the diet. It is a precursor to the neurotransmitter serotonin, the hormone melatonin and vitamin B3.

Cystine is the oxidized form of the amino acid Cysteine and is recognized for skin elasticity and biological functions that allow proteins to retain their shape. Human hair and skin contain approximately 10-14% cystine by mass. This will help support your skin and hair to stay healthy.

Methionine is an essential amino acid that is the building block of proteins. Methionine plays a critical role in the metabolism and health of many species, including humans. It is also an important part of angiogenesis, the growth of new blood vessels in your body.

Aspartic Acid  is an amino acid used in the biosynthesis of proteins. The body can synthesize this, so it is not “essential”. It is the precursor to several amino acids, including four that ARE essential to humans: methionine, threonine, isoleucine, and lysine.

Theanine (often spelle Theonine) is an amino acid found often in green tea and plant and fungal species. It is similar to glutamate and binds to glutamate receptors and it increases serotonin, dopamine, GABA, and glycine levels in various areas of the brain. It’s able to cross the blood-brain barrier and has been studied for it’s potential ability to reduce mental and physical stress, improve cognition, and boost mood and cognitive performance in a synergistic manner with caffeine.

Serine is yet another amino acid. It is important in metabolism. It is a precursor to folate and other metabolites. This amino acid is considered conditional – humans can synthesize it but can’t always synthesize optimal quantities over entire lifespans. It is good to have a source of this. It is being studied in rodents as a potential treatment for Schizophrenia, ALS and Diabetes.

Glutamic acid is an amino acid that is used by almost all living beings and is created in the human body. It is the precursor for the synthesis of the inhibitory gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in GAVA-ergic neurons. It reduces excitability in the Central Nervous System. Amino acids like this one are broken down by digestion to serve as metabolic fuel for other functional roles in the body.

Proline is an amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins.

Glycine is an amino acid that serves as the most abundant amino acid in collagen. It is also an inhibitory neurotransmitter and is found in the spinal cord, brainstem and retina, prohibiting spastic paralysis due to uninhibited muscle contractions. It is biosynthesized from Serine. It’s principal function is to be a precursor to proteins. Collagen is 35% glycine.

Alanine is an amino acid also used in the biosynthesis of proteins. In mammals, alanine plays a key role in glucose-alanine cycle between tissues and liver.

Valine is an amino acid used in the biosynthesis of proteins. It is essential in humans, meaning the body can not make it, it has to be obtained by the diet. Adult humans require about 4mg/kg body weight daily. Dietary valine is essential for hematopoietic stem cell (HSC) self-renewal, as demonstrated by experiments in mice. [1]

Isoleucine is an amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. It is essential in humans, meaning the body cannot synthesize it and it must be ingested in our diet. It is a glucogenic and ketogenic amino acid.

Leucine is an essential amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. It is a branched-chain amino acid and is one of the two exclusively ketogenic amino acids (with lysine being the other). It is the most important ketogenic amino acid in humans. Leucine protects mice against seizures.

Tyrosine is one of the 20 standard amino acids that are used by cells to synthesize proteins. It is non-essential. The Recommended Dietary Allowance, RDA) is 15mg per pound. It can be synthesized in the body from phenylalanine and is found in high-protein foods such as chicken, fish, milk, yogurt and cheese. It is also a precursor to neurotransmitters and hormones. The thyroid hormones T3 and T4 are derived from Tyrosine and it’s also needed to synthesize coenzyme Q10. As a precursor to neurotransmitters, it also increases plasma neurotransmitter levels, but has little effect on mood. It helps sustain working memory better during multitasking. [2]

Phenylalanine is an essential amino acid that is a precursor for tyrosine, dopamine, norepinephrine, and epinephrine, and the skin pigment melanin.

Lysine is an amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. It is essential as the human body can’t synthesize it. Lysine helps us uptake essential mineral nutrients and in the production of carnitine which is key in fatty acid metabolism. It’s important for several biological processes. A lack of lysine can lead to several disease states including defective connective tissues, impaired fatty acid metabolism, anemia, and systemic protein energy deficiency. Lysine is one of the nine essential amino acids in humans and is a structural protein of connective tissues and involved in the stability and strength factor of collagen. When taken orally, it can increase the release of growth hormones.

Histidine – an amino acid that is used in biosynthesis of proteins. It is a precursor to histamine, a vital inflammatory agent in immune responses. It is not synthesized in humans and we must ingest it.

Lignin (not to be confused with Lignan) is a class of complex organic polymers that form key structural materials in the support tissues of vascular plants and some algae.[1] Lignins are particularly important in the formation of cell walls, especially in wood and bark, because they lend rigidity and do not rot easily. Chemically, lignins are cross-linked phenolic polymers.[2]

Argninine – an amino acid that is used in the biosynthesis of proteins. It is conditionally essential amino acid, depending on the developmental stage and health status of the individual. Preterm infants are unable to make it. Arginine plays an important role in cell division, wound healing, removing ammonia from the body, immune function, and the release of hormones. It is important in the regulation of blood pressure.

There are a lot of individual constituents working together to create the synergistic immune system supporting effect of concentrated Flax Hull Lignans!

And one last thing…. We use a special process called “MCP” to cold-mill the lignans, guaranteeing there are no chemicals or residues of any kind in the product. We want your Flax Hull Lignans to be free of toxic residues!

A few more testimonials….
